Tonya Agnew and Amy Crampton almost got married in Washington three years ago. When same-sex marriage became legal in the District in 2010, they were finalists in a contest to win a free wedding. The Indiana pair made a video about their family and were in the lead until the final days of online voting, when another couple pulled ahead. So they lost. Except they didn't.
